The schedule is established by the product and the markets in which it operates.

M4Markets server time is GMT + 2 or GMT + 3 (in summer time).

Trading hours for all currencies start on Monday at 00:05, based on server time and close on Friday at 23:57 server time, while metals open at 01:00 on Monday and close at 11:57 p.m. on Friday.

Clients can also view the schedules from their MetaTrader terminal (for more information, see the MT4 manual).

Trade FX for 24 hours a day

The forex market is open 24 hours a day, and it is important to know which are the most active periods.

For example, if we take the least active period between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. New York time, when New York has closed and before Tokyo opens, Sydney will be open, but with more modest activity than the three main sessions (London, United States, Tokyo).

Therefore less activity means fewer financial opportunities.

If you want to trade currency pairs like EUR / USD, GBP / USD or USD / CHF, you will find the most activity between 8 a.m. and 12 a.m., when both Europe and the United States are active.
