Required documents by FXOpen for account verification
Verification is the process of verifying the identity of the owner of an eWallet.
The current verification status is shown in the Client status block in the upper right corner of the Personal Account.
Your FXOpen eWallet must be verified in order to fund your account via most payment systems, transfer between accounts or withdraw funds.
To verify your eWallet, do the following:
- Select Settings → Account Verification in the My FXOpen Personal Area.
- Select the type of eWallet:
- Individual – You will independently manage the account as an individual.
- Joint – You are going to trade with another person and make payments from a joint bank account. During the verification process, you will need to provide information about the main and additional account holders. Both owners will have equal access to account transactions.
- Corporate – You are going to manage your account on behalf of a company or other organization and fund your account from a bank account owned by a legal entity. In the process of opening an account, FXOpen will ask you to provide information about the director of the company, as well as provide additional documents.
- Fill out the form and upload scanned copies of the relevant documents.
- Click Verify.
When your account is verified, it will receive a certain level of verification.
Typically, the verification process takes up to 48 hours.
The time for eWallet verification or verification of your documents may increase if you submit them for reconsideration (because your documents were rejected by FXOpen or additional documents where required).

Required documents for corporate (company) account
To verify a Corporate eWallet, you must provide the following identity documents:
- Electronic copies of registration documents for the company;
- An electronic copy of the identity document of the owner of the company (passport, driver’s license or other valid ID with photo, name, and address);
- If the person who opens an eWallet in the name of the company is not its director (owner), or the name of the director (owner) of the company is not indicated in the registration documents, then a Decision of the Board of Directors of the company or an electronic copy of another document confirming the right of the person to open an account and perform trading operations is required (i.e. power of attorney). The document must be signed by all Directors / Founders. You can download the Board of Directors Decisions form here.
- An electronic copy of the document confirming the real address of the company indicated in the trading account (bank statement or utility bill);

FXOpen accepts documents in the following formats: * .jpg (JPEG), * .gif, * .pdf, * .png.
The size of each file must not exceed 20 MB. The scanned copy must be in color and all information on it must be clearly visible.
Account verification usually takes about 48 hours. But due to the increased number of requests for the verification procedure, this process can take from 3 to 5 working days.
Attention! Account verification or verification time may increase if you submit them for reconsideration (because your documents were rejected by FXOpen or additional documents are required). If you need to go through the verification procedure faster, send a request to FXOpen.
