1. Unstable internet
If your internet connection is unstable, try the following steps.
- Run a speed test to see if this is the cause.
- Make sure all internet cables are connected properly.
- Turn off the modem/router for initialization, wait at least 5 seconds, and then turn it on again.
- Search the servers again by clicking the connection bar in the lower right corner and selecting Rescan Servers.
2. Firewall and antivirus software
To fix this, do the following:
- Add MT4 or MT5 to your firewall and antivirus software exceptions list.
- Turn off the firewall and log in again.
You can also use the IP address/DNS when logging into the terminal.
