How to trade directly on charts of XTB xStation
Trading from a chart allows you to take and edit orders directly on the chart.
Trading from charts is a flexible and immediate way to trade in your chosen markets and instruments.
The xStation trading platform allows you to directly set pending orders from the chart or in the order window.
After establishing a pending order from the chart, a sale order will be opened with all the parameters previously established.
Log in to XTB xStation platform
The xStation trading platform has been designed to make trading easier, allowing you to set pending orders directly from the chart without the need to open a new order window and adjust all parameters manually.
In order to start trading on the chart, you must first press the button in the upper left corner of the screen (highlighted in the example above by a white box).
After doing so, you need to move the mouse cursor over the chart so that you can select a level at which the pending order will open.
Once you have chosen the price level of your pending order, you can select Stop Loss or Take Profit above or below its level.
In the example above, we have chosen to place a pending order at the 41.96 level.
The stop loss level has been selected at 45.50 and the Take Profit level has been selected at 32.28.
Since the stop loss was chosen above the level at which the position was opened, the system automatically determines that it is a Sell Stop.
After setting the pending order from the chart, a window will open with the chosen parameters.
If you would like to make some modifications, you can do so in the open window.
If you want to set the pending order, then you must click on the “Sell Stop” button, as this is the type of transaction that was set.
