The history of quotes can be downloaded from the MetaTrader terminal.
To do this, open the menu item Service → Quotes Archive and selects the asset for which you want to download the quotes archive.
To download quotes from the archive, follow these steps:
- Open your account in the MetaTrader terminal and close the windows of all charts, except for the one for which you want to download the history of quotes from the archive.
- Right-click on the graph and select Properties, General tab. Enable the Offline chart option.
- Close the MetaTrader terminal window and reopen it.
- Select the menu item Service → Quotes Archive.
- Select the required currency pair and timeframe (period) on the left side of the window.
- Click Download.
- Wait for the download process to complete and close the MetaTrader terminal.
- Open the MetaTrader folder on your computer, select the downloads folder in it, for example, C: \ Users \ user_name \ AppData \ Roaming \ MetaQuotes \ Terminal \ instance_id \ history \ downloads. This folder contains a folder with quotes history files (for example, EURUSD).
- Copy the files from the specified folder to the folder with the name of your trade server, for example, to the … history \ downloads \ Real 2 FXOpen folder.
- Open the MetaTrader terminal and create a new chart for the required currency pair.
